Secretariat Festival 2012

In addition to Penny Chenery, the Secretariat Festival Autograph Session will host FIVE Kentucky Derby winning jockeys (Ron Turcotte, Jean Cruguet, Pat Day, Chris McCarron, and Mike Manganello) during our event schedule. Racing luminaries even extend into the Festival's live entertainment as we welcome special guests and accomplished bluegrass musicians Arthur Hancock III and son Arthur IV to our Saturday schedule. Arthur III is the owner of Stone Farm who co-bred Kentucky Derby winners Gato Del Sol (1982) and Fusaichi Pegasus (2000), as well as the co-owner of the renowned 1989 champion and Horse of the Year, Sunday Silence.

SECRETARIAT AND LAWRENCE ROBINSON. Robinson Works with the greats.

9/10/2012
SECRETARIAT AND LAWRENCE ROBINSON

Cool morning air, slight dew and radiant bright sunshine greeted us all this morning here at Loudoun Hall Stables. (aka Loudoun Hall Farms) , All the horses grazing in the fields as I started to go about my daily routine of throwing hay, fresh water and feed then up the side hill to the barn with pen and paper in hand. I set down and looked around at all the beauty that God has given us all. The fluffy white clouds, some falling leaves blown in the cool air, delighted with this, it is my time of the year, I love it! Fall. ~MMlS
